Our client is seeking a Bilingual Bookkeeper. This position offers long term growth, great competitive salary and full benefits. Please note, this position would require a vehicle as there is light travel to the bank on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage & monitor all daily accounting such as A/P, A/R, Purchasing, collections & inventory management
  • Process Monthly financial remittances including HST,EHT, Payroll, & WCB deductions
  • Process monthly financial statements
  • Process biweekly payroll
  • Perform all monthly reconciliation activities
  • Perform all monthly commission payment to sales reps
  • Determine & monitor client credit limits procedures & systems
  • Ensure overall accounting integrity & accuracy
  • Prepare necessary reports for management as needed
  • Perform all accounting duties for other companies
  • Participate in year-end accounting processes as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be fully Bilingual (strong written French)
  • 3-5 Year previous Bookkeeping/Accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of AR, AP and month end activities
  • Strong knowledge of Simply Accounting and Microsoft Excel
  • Must be quick, proactive, self-disciplined, self-organized
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task
