We offer complete project design and prototyping services for electronic products or complex systems: from concept to detail design, to building state of the art electronic systems that meet the increasing demands of today’s technology. To perform this role successfully, the Software Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks:
⦁ Develop software according to functional and technical design specifications and maintain a “common sense” approach that serves to recognize potential design gaps and provide insight into closing them.
⦁ Determining any functionality that the web application must support and developing content
⦁ Development of NT service / daemon applications that accept connections from web applications (Graphic User Interface) allowing the user to manage the entire system; communicate though USB and/or TCP with electronic devices; store and maintain data in a database.
⦁ Review code for potential performance issues, reusability, and/or anomalies.
⦁ Testing software, web aplications and Apps, identifying any technical problems and glitches.
⦁ Other tasks as required to support project goals and business activities.
⦁ A University Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
⦁ 2-5 years of web development and/or C++/C# application development experience
⦁ Programming Languages (under one or more of the following):
C++, C# (Visual Studio)
⦁ Other : Python, Boost C++ library, XML, J2EE
⦁ Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
⦁ Operating Systems: Windows
⦁ Good knowledge of Linux, Android
⦁ Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL
⦁ InstallShield or InstallAnywhere - an asset
⦁ Experience with bug tracking systems and Version Control (Bugzilla, Subversion)
⦁ High level of organization and time management skills and ability to co-ordinate multiple tasks
⦁ Detail oriented with respect to quality and accuracy
⦁ Capable of working independently, while being a collaborative member of the team
⦁ Takes initiative to complete tasks in progress and seek creative solutions.
⦁ Problem solving and resourcefulness
⦁ Strong interpersonal skills
