We are a rapidly growing provider of Managed IT solutions for small to midsize businesses throughout the Greater Toronto Area. We offer an exciting work environment and challenging work with plenty of opportunities to expand your skills.
We are currently seeking an experienced technician for a full-time position based at our Brampton / Mississauga Branch

Essential Functions:
· Provide 1st and 2nd level telephone and email support to end users
· Perform adds and changes to hosted Exchange email accounts, including Blackberry and ActiveSync accounts
· Liaise with 3rd-party vendors (hardware, phone, internet) and other suppliers
· Escalate issues to 3rd Tier support personnel when needed
· Configure, install and maintain servers, network devices, desktops, notebooks, printers and other equipment
· Use drive imaging software to maintain standard images for deployment to new PCs
· Monitor helpdesk system for new tickets and prioritize responses accordingly
· Maintain customer systems configuration documentation, equipment inventory, user accounts and other vital data in our ERP system
· Remotely access client systems using our
· Occasionally work on-site at client sites
· Other duties as assigned by manager
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
· Must have 2 to 5 years hands-on experience in an IT support environment
· Must have experience working with PC desktop, notebook and server hardware (HP, Lenovo, Dell, Toshiba and others)
· Must have experience working with Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory and SQL Server
· Experience with Windows XP/7/Vista/Server 2003/Server 2008, Microsoft Office Suites (2003/2007/2010), Adobe Acrobat, and other commonly used office apps
· Completed recent MCSE accreditation is required
· Vendor certification (HP, Cisco, Dell) is an asset
· Experience with Apple Macs, iPhone/iPad and/or Linux is an asset
· Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
· Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and well organized.
· Must have excellent interpersonal skills
· Must have excellent written and verbal English skills
· Must have valid drivers’ license (class G) and reliable vehicle
Compensation:
· Hourly wage negotiated based on experience
· Benefits package available after 6 months
