Maintain Internal Control Framework and ensure controls are in place. Assist with reporting, monthly book closing as well as annual budget and Dynamic Forecasts. Review activity and analyse profitability of different business activities. Assist with ad-hoc projects to adhere to internal and external guidelines and exploit savings opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Control

 Establishes and maintains Internal Control Framework and continuously reviews, updates and adds/ removes controls.
 Makes sure internal controls are in place and carried out by the respective employees responsible for the controls and reports status of internal controls on a monthly/ quarterly basis


 Reviews quarterly closings and dynamic forecasts and responds to questions raised by Nespresso HQ Finance department
 Reviews budgets (Marketing, Trade Spend, Capital Expenditure) and makes sure budget procedures are adhered to
 Analyses efficiency and effectiveness of Marketing and Trade money spent (post promotional evaluation)
 Analyses profitability in various aspects of the business, such as on customer level (customer contribution statement) or of certain operations (after sales service, sales of refurbished machines, etc.)

Budget Control

 Assists Market Controller with budget control
 Analysis of actuals vs. budgets to ensure zero overage and accuracy in dynamic forecasts
 Assists budget owners with questions and concerns

Ad hoc Projects

 E.g. CAPEX investment pre and post appraisal support
 Work with business to evaluate cost benefit of new services or activities


 Language skills: perfectly bilingual in English and French (verbal and written)
 Finance or accounting bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. CMA or equivalent preferred
 Excellent verbal and written communications skills
 Accounting and Finance knowledge
 Ability to multi task
 Capable of analytical thinking and seeing the big picture
 Ability to quickly learn new concepts and processes
 Drive to take initiative and to improve processes
