Wanted: Recruitment Assistant

About the position:

Nerd Corps Entertainment is expanding and we are in need of an enthusiastic Recruitment Assistant to join our vibrant HR team. This individual will support the day to day function of the busy HR Department with a focus on recruitment. Their duties will include organizing portfolios, assisting in the interview process, posting job positions, maintaining the recruitment database and support for community outreach. This person will pride themselves on being sharp, intuitive and details oriented, and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities and duties:
Providing a positive first contact for the HR Department
Posting jobs and maintaining job site log
Maintaining the career page on the Nerd Corps website
Collecting resumes, updating and maintaining a database
Setting up interviews and assisting with interviewing candidates
Assist with recruitment tasks
Provide a positive and active contact with schools, industry and artists

Qualifications and competencies:

A background animation production would be an asset, particularly any experience with supporting artists
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel and MSWord)
Effective time management, prioritizing of tasks and attention to detail are all required skills
Demonstrated ability to handle competing demands and be proactive
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills required
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Works well in a team environment but can also work independently with minimal supervision
