Administrative Assistant

This full time position will be based out of Neptec's Kanata office. Hours of work will be 9:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.

Basic Duties:

Administration

 Preparation of Expense Reports
 Travel coordination
 Maintenance of contacts
 Data Entry and other admin and clerical duties as required

Afternoon Reception
 Front Desk activities including: switchboard, greeting and registering visitors; faxes and mail; appointment bookings; courier shipments; ordering for lunch hour meetings
 Managing calendar entries for all company conference rooms
 Ensuring security regulations are followed
 Timesheets

Education and Experience:

 Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
 Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
 Keyboard skills
 1-2 years related experience

 Verbal and written communication skills
 Professional personal presentation
 Customer service orientation
 Information management, organizing and planning
 Attention to detail
 Initiative, reliable
 Stress tolerance
 Strong Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills

The successful candidate must be able to satisfy the requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and also must have, or be eligible to apply for, Level II Secret clearance.
