The Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) is dedicated to promoting the art and science of natural health practices, to serving the needs and maintaining the professional standards of natural health practitioners in Canada, and to improving health care in Canada.
As Executive Assistant, it will be your responsibility to enhances and facilitate the daily effectiveness of the executive office by providing personal administrative support and assistance to the Executive Director and Registrar (ED&R) as well as:
To manage the day-to-day running of the ED&R’s office, by providing a high quality administrative and organizational support service and by acting as a key point of contact for members and visitors;
To understand the key corporate decisions, strategies and policies in order to fully support the ED&R priorities and provide information as required;
To maintain the ED&R appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, webinars, and travel;
To prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents;
To prepare documentation for Member Meetings, Board, Committees and Task Force Meetings;
To develop and maintain the Executive Office Budget including expense claims for the ED&R: And more….
The Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience providing support at the executive level
Experience of successfully working with Board members and senior management
Experience of maintaining excellent meeting protocol for Committee / Board meetings / AGMs
Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
Post-Secondary diploma or Bachelor’s degree an advantage.
Must be available for limited travel.
