Project Manager, International - Full-time permanent role

1. Planning and Financial Management

  • Assess the emerging needs, issues and strengths of the Caribbean & Latin American Regions. Consult with operations and product managers to ensure that appropriate models of prevention and support are developed and implemented
  • Develop and manage the annual operating budget for the Regions, ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources
  • Provide direction and guidance to staff in the appropriate use and monitoring of resources

2. Operational/Action Management

  • Efficiently and effectively deliver programs in the Regions and develop local tactics consistent with NAS’ strategies, policies and procedures
  • Create action plans and ensure staff is effectively engaged and held accountable to achieve regional objectives
  • Monitor regional performance towards objectives, communicate progress, identify issues and ensure corrective action is taken when needed
  • Effectively manage change within the Regions
  • Provide accurate regional information and data required for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes

3. Workforce Management

  • Communicate effectively with clients and staff and ensure effective internal communication processes are in place within the Regions
  • Supervise staff through effective coaching, performance management, recognition and fostering learning and career development opportunities
  • Provide guidance and training to all staff on standards, directions, policies and procedures

4. Relationship Management

  • Actively network to identify and engage clients and potential client opportunities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders including clients, government representatives and organizations such as appraiser institutions and/or committees
  • Foster a culture in which engagement is optimized at every contact point


  • University or College degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of Project Management / International / Operations experience
  • Experience in the banking industry is preferred and considered as a strong asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication and is fully bilingual in English and Spanish
  • A Team-oriented self-starter who has the ability to work with limited supervision within a small, focused business group
  • Comfortable in working closely with clients, product and support teams; has an analytical focus, is results and sales oriented
  • Exceptional people management skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop associate, including the ability to delegate key areas of responsibility
  • Exceptional ability to implement organizational, divisional, and/or departmental vision and goals that result in achievement and success through exceptional leadership skills, collaboration and creative thinking
  • Experience working independently and in an environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration is essential
  • Ability to work within changing priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good listening skills
  • Ability to establish and manage performance indicators
  • Proficient in MS Office - Word and Outlook, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
