Pros: flexible dress code, friendly/laid-back atmosphere
Cons: working alone, cannot promise full-time hours
A typical day at wok is opening the store in the morning, dual-custodying the cash in store, and helping customers as they come in. In-between helping customers, you make collection calls and courtesy calls. When your co-worker comes on, you again custody all cash and print out all of your reports for the day.
The hardest part of the job is being alone – more... all day, and since only one person works at a time you only have a handful of co-workers.
What this job taught be though is independent time-management, strong cash-handling skills, and how to cross-sell to clients and customers with a range of products. – less
