NAL is looking for a detail-oriented Chief Inspector with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You are an efficient, organized self-motivated individual with a strong ability to multi-task and manage several priorities.
Reporting to the Team Lead, Integrity Engineering within Operations Services, you will be responsible for the effectiveness of NAL’s Alberta Pressure Equipment Integrity Management Program (PEIMP) and Saskatchewan Quality Management Program (QMS) by ensuring that the quality control requirements of the program are met as well as ensuring corporate compliance with all regulatory requirements in Alberta and Saskatchewan. You will also be responsible for setting inspection intervals, reviewing inspection reports, developing repair plans and ensuring qualifications are met for contractors involved with the pressure equipment program.
To qualify for this position, you must be a Certified Engineering Technologist or registered Professional Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in pressure equipment integrity management. You also possess a valid “In-Service Pressure Vessel Inspector Certification” from ABSA and are National Board or API-510 certified.
