Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for all various product management activities. You will work closely with software developers, quality assurance engineers, technical writers, professional services and sales on a daily basis to detail product management requirements & software design documents and to ensure that they are developed as per specifications. You will be involved in all aspects of our product lifecycle to ensure that the product development is executed efficiently and meets our timelines to support a successful go to market.
We are looking for a Product Specialist for our HCM solution as well as for the Lease Contract Administration solution by Nakisa.
Capturing detailed requirements and expanding to ensure that engineers understand all requirements & develop a product that is uniform and easily used by customers with minimum training
Translate epics, use case into detailed backlogs, planned estimates for individual backlogs.
Defining detailed mockups, Refining and completing mockups, Ensure end to end UX alignment across entire suite. Product managers may get involved on critical design elements
Ensure backlogs/requirements meet product standard requirements as per compatibility matrix and other standards (languages)
Daily follow up with development team throughout the complete development lifecycle (scrums – daily stand ups, bug scrums, sprint goal tracking & management)
Inquire about the products (Discussion group), formulate estimates for approval to product manager, defect management and ensuring alignment with Product managers. Handling CR’s, new feature requirements for product owner approval. Tracking and management commitments to PS.
Preparing functional and technical training content and providing training to the trainers
Ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation
Responsible for free format testing and bug logging
Working with the product manager internal and external evangelist for product line
Working with Software QA & Test ensure that Nakisa products are of the highest quality and easily used out of the box
Touch points include software development, global alliances and marketing, professional services
Overall responsibility for how the Nakisa products work from a user point of view
Performing research on competitive products usability and other topics
Supporting initial deployments and managing ramp ups
Driving pre-release initiatives
Be involved in various implementation projects related to your products in a billable engagement
Ability to configure products using AdminConsole and take on product backlogs that can be done via Admin
Assist with any other tasks that may arise in the department
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years experience of product management and business development process with good knowledge of Product Strategy, Market Analysis, Competitive Analysis, Go to market strategy and User Experience & Ergonomics
Must have Human Capital Management (HR) domain / industry knowledge OR SAP Financial Market knowledge
Experience and knowledge of web-based Graphics User Interface design & usability is an asset
Experience reviewing, understanding and interpreting Product Definitions, Business Requirements Documents, Functional Requirements Documents
Worked in software development environment preferably for client server or web based products
Experience within IT/ERP development environment is an asset
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively
Ability to multitask
Ability to coordinate people and activities across multiple functional areas
Experience working in agile and waterfall based software development environment
Highly motivated and passionate individual capable of motivating others
