Market Research Interviewer

As a Market Research Interviewer, you will be responsible for completing interviews with the public for market research and public opinion polls, so no selling is involved.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting telephone interviews and following questionnaire/survey outlines for research purposes
  • Reading the survey/questionnaire scripts verbatim
  • Using effective interviewing techniques
  • Ensuring respondents meet eligibility requirements
  • Recording answers directly into a computer database
  • Completing clerical and/or other duties as required

If you are a friendly, outgoing, self-motivated individual who has a drive to succeed, this is the role for you. To be successful, you must have an excellent phone manner and strong verbal and written communication skills.

This role will be suited to an individual who has intermediate computer skills. You should be confident in calling respondents and listening to their answers. Having the ability to learn new things quickly and be directed by others is also key.

In addition, this position offers freedom to choose your hours. Employed on a part time/casual basis, you can work anywhere from 16-35 hours per week. These schedules are perfect for students or someone wanting to work part time and earn a bit of extra income.

Wage: $10.25 - $10.75 per hour
Shifts: Evenings/Weekends
Hours: Weekdays 5:00pm – 11:00pm
Saturdays 12:00pm – 7:00pm
Sundays 3:00pm – 10:00pm
