The North West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) is one of the 14 LHINs in the Province of Ontario with a mandate to plan, integrate, fund and manage performance of LHIN funded health service providers. Recently the responsibilities and accountabilities of the North West LHIN were expanded and as a result we are excited to recruit new positions to join the talented team in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Program Assistant

Responsible for providing administrative support to Health System Transformation division staff. As an integral member of the program area team, participates in ensuring positive and successful interactions with internal and external stakeholders.

College or equivalent work experience.

-Minimum 3 years of experience in an office environment.
-Proficiency with PC-based hardware/software (Microsoft Suite) and inter/intranets.
-Ability to perform complex office administrative work requiring the use of independent judgment.
-Ability to analyze and resolve office administrative and procedural problems; interpret policies and procedures.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with all staff at all levels, including the general public.
-Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple, often conflicting demands.
-Experience with graphic programs and design (Visio Photoshop Illustrator is an asset)
-French language is an asset
