About us:
North American Foreclosure and Distressed Opportunities Funds (NAFDOF) are organized and operated in North America. These Funds seek to provide investors with current income and/or capital appreciation by making direct and indirect investments in real estate located in the United States and Canada.

Competencies and Attributes:
Seeking a college or university graduate with 3 or more years office experience. This person should be comfortable with a fast paced environment and a big variety in scope. They should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate should strive for strong governance, transparency and employee development.

Job Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:
Responsible for full accounts payable cycle
High volume of telephone communications with vendors
Ensure that all documentation is balanced and has appropriate approvals.
Accounts Receivable:
Responsible for revenue recognition, collections and reconciliations
Administration:
Extensive verbal and written communication with various related and 3rd party stakeholders
Document gathering/retention, filing, accounts administration (open/close utilities)
Assist in documentation of internal controls and policies.
General Journal: Standard accruals, prepaid amortizations
Reconciliations: bank & sub-ledgers
Ad-hoc assignments as required.

Qualifications and Experience:
Post-secondary education in Office Administration (or related)
Minimum 3 years relevant experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must
Experience with ERP systems and intermediate skill (or better) with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to accuracy and detail
Strive for Continuous Improvement both personally and for the organization
Good organization, time management and ability to prioritize
Willing to take on several roles as the need arises
