The Municipal Finance Officers' Association (MFOA) in partnership with the Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) is now accepting intern applications for the 2013-2014 Municipal Finance Internship Program (MFIP)!
The MFIP provides recent graduates with the exciting opportunity to work directly with senior staff in Ontario municipalities, providing opportunities in financial administration, leadership and municipal governance.
A competitive salary (minimum $40,000), extensive training and networking opportunities (a professional development budget of $5,000), and the creation of a 'deliverable,' a project with a legacy which will benefit the municipal finance sector. An opportunity to become one of the next generation of municipal leaders, contributing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas.

Interns are hosted by Ontario municipalities and a MMAH Municipal Service Office for 4-6 weeks of the year (ability to relocate a must). A one year contract, beginning June/July of 2013.
