Reporting to the Multicultural Association Executive Director, the Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for promoting the agency’s vision and mission in the community and generating good will through relationship building with various cultural groups, coordination of marketing, database management and event related fundraising activities

Education and Experience:
Diploma, degree or certificate with a background in sales or marketing, Multi-lingual proficiency is an asset

Skills Required:

  • Extremely personable net-worker
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to meet stiff deadlines and work within a tight budget
  • Strong report-writing skills
  • Knowledge and experience working and/or volunteering with social profits
  • A passion for multiculturalism, diversity, and inclusion

Employment Details: Part Time position

  • 30 hours per week
  • Pay of $20 per hour with a potential for increase to 22 after probation
