MSX International (MSXI) is all revved up to provide outsourced business services. The company provides engineering, human resources services, and other outsourced business services (including marketing, document management, and purchasing) to clients primarily from the auto industry. Its offerings also include temporary and permanent staffing, executive search, career management, training, product engineering, and supply chain management. MSXI has served such major US and European automotive companies as Ford, Toyota, Mitsubishi Motors, and General Motors. Established in 1996, MSXI has a presence in more than 30 countries.
Looking to expand its presence in a high-growth automotive market, in 2010 the company launched a subsidiary in Shanghai. MSXI had already cemented its toehold in the Asia/Pacific region when it purchased the Japanese training operations of Carter and Carter Group PLC in 2008.
Although MSXI has concentrated heavily on the auto industry, the company wants to expand its presence in such industries as transportation, financial services, and medical products.
