Customer service, retail, trade shows, marketing (Former Employee) –  Surrey, BCJuly 22, 2016
It was a great positive place to work.
Everyone was super kind and I enjoyed working with them as well as talking to the customers and meeting many new people, which by far was the best part.

All in all Mr. Lube was a fun place to work at.

Mr lube Review
Upper Technician (Current Employee) –  Toronto, ONMarch 9, 2016
Mr lube is a lovely place to work at, you work on cars the customers are always happy and talkative and almost never do you have a problems with anyone. A typical day at Mr lube would be cars coming in to get an oil change and while they get an oil change the upper technician (such as myself) checks the cabin air filters, air filters, check transmission fluids, and basic check ups on the car and recommend to the customer and whether they want to change it or not you can either do the service or put it in the recommendations for them for the next time they come in.
Pros
Excellent crew to work with and free pizza every meeting
Cons
only get two shifts a week

Automotive Technician (Current Employee) –  London, ONFebruary 26, 2016
Everyday you get to learn something new about different cars. It might be the same thing you did the previous day on a car but it will be different. The team is very friendly and is always there to lend a hand. Manager is a great trainer and helps you do your best.
Pros
Great work experience
Cons
No job security

Bad Morals
Service Technician (Former Employee) –  Calgary, ABOctober 8, 2015
The manager at the Memorial location was a dishonest woman who always pressured sales on people without providing actual knowledge to the customer about their purchase. She'd often get irate if you wouldn't push the sale. I had problems with lying to customers and would often prefer to help a customer, rather than rip them off.
Pros
Hours worked great with childcare
Cons
Management had no morals

Amazing workplace with great bosses
Upper Technician (Former Employee) –  1191 Weber Street East, Kitchener ONJuly 13, 2015
Working here was amazing. The other technicians were great and fun to work with, and were always ready to teach you new things. The hardest part of the job was having to service the customers vehicle for the first time, when you didn't know exactly what to do. The most enjoyable part was getting to meet new people.
Pros
great hours, awesome supervisor/boss, amazing co-workers
Cons
none

Upper Mechanic (Former Employee) –  Toronto, ONJune 15, 2014
Their supervisor and management operations are beyond incompatible to the success of an organization, only because they aim to meet the needs of only customers, while discarding the initial incompetencies of a beginner employee.

Only closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Made scheduling difficult as most staff want time off around holidays.

Great company to work with. Not all good technicians are also good trainor. A technician should have confidence in doing their job as technician while at the same providing excellent customer service.
Pros
not stressful. it's fun meeting people as customers.
Cons
low hourly rate.
