Mount Sinai cares about their patients.
Pros: noone to look over my shoulder.
Cons: sometimes it can be pretty busy and i miss having a lunch and/or break.
My day starts at 1830. I am responsible for collecting, and analyzing incoming specimens. Setting up and notifying on positive blood cultures, preparing and reading gram stains, performing all rapid tests.
I work alone, so I have to be able to do many things at once.
