As a member of the MCI Engineering Team, you will be responsible for ensuring engineering designs and design changes are analyzed and tested to meet Industry and MCI standards. Working closely with electrical and mechanical designers (and other departments), candidates will have a demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of the organizational and project teams.
- Candidates will have completed their degree in mechanical engineering and will be a registered professional engineer or engineer-in-training with APEGM, or eligible for registration.
- Manufacturing experience is an asset. Experience with Unigraphics (or other 3D CAD systems), Ansys (or other FEA packages), eDAQ and MRP systems is preferred. Your comfort working in a fast-paced environment, ability to “think outside of the box”, excellent communication skills, demonstrated success in managing multiple tasks, and willingness to embrace change easily is required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong computer skills, with focus on MS Office (Word/Excel).
