BC Bearing/Motion Canada, a leading distributor of industrial MRO (maintenance, repair and operation replacement) parts, and the largest Bearing and Power Transmission Company in NA is currently recruiting for a Shipper/Receiver. The position reports into the Branch Operations Manager in our Quesnel, British Columbia branch, and is primarily responsible for all shipping and receiving activity for the branch and ensuring that all stocked merchandise is properly maintained.

Sales and Customer Service:
- Provides excellent customer service that will enhance the relationship and lead to ongoing sales

Order Fulfillment:
- Matches packing slip to items shipped from Distribution Center, another Motion Industries' location, or a supplier to ensure all items are accounted for
- Receives items in the computer system to show which items are available for the customers; may process invoices for customer
- Prepares items for delivery to customer; ensures items are pulled from inventory or from daily shipment
- Secures packages to make sure no items are damaged in delivery to customer
- May deliver items to customers; obtains signature from customer to validate receipt of items
- May process counter sales

Warehouse Maintenance:
- Maintains a clean warehouse
- Restocks shelves when new inventory arrives; maintains established MINO code organization of products
- Prepares customer returns for shipment back to Distribution Center or supplier

Interaction:
- May interact with customers while delivering items; interacts with Customer Service Representatives, Account Representatives to resolve any problems with customer orders

Training:
- Attends training sessions regularly to continue professional growth and development

Education and Experience:
- Reliability, organization and attention to detail required
- Basic computer skills, including information processing
- May need to be certified to operate a forklift
- Valid driver's license and good driving record required
- Must be able to move up to 100 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be hard working, have good customer service skills and be self-motivated
