Motek Cultural Initiative (MOTEK) is an innovative non-profit charitable organization established to showcase contemporary Israeli music to diverse audiences. The Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator works to create and maintain a positive public image for the organization while protecting its reputation. Works with staff in various departments and reports directly to management.
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Drafting email/mail correspondence of executive director from dictation and/or summary points
Oversee, prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents
Research, write, and edit integrated internal and external communication pieces such as news releases, brochures, ads, presentation materials, speeches, web content, general correspondence, feature articles, fact sheets, business plans etc.
Monitor media/media coverage of the organization and related donors/organizations/philanthropic foundations
Developing advertisement/social media campaigns, launching and maintaining them
Development and implementation of the marketing and website maintenance for the organization Planning, implementation and follow-up for all special events and annual receptions
Coordinate event logistics, publicity, advertising and collateral material production and distribution
Broaden social networking to benefit the organization
At least 3 years experience of:
New Media/ Social Media
PR and /or Marketing Communications role
Event management experience is a plus
Candidates must have:
Expertise in document editing, write formal documents and conduct in-depth online research
Excellent English proficiency - written and spoken
Ability to communicate in Hebrew (fluent Hebrew - is an asset)
Previous work/volunteer with Jewish organizations
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs
Relationships: Maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally.
Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Teamwork: Work co-operatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions to enhance organizational effectiveness; an ability to undertake self-directed tasks when necessary.
Organization: Excellent time management and problem-solving skills; attention to detail; the ability to effectively prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency
