Mysteriously after I posted my last review it disappeared along with all previous reviews to the page, so I'll post again.
Mogo as an overall company is more concerned with image than results. Although there are good people who work at Mogo at try their hardest to do their job properly, there is a lot of nepotism. Management doesn't seem to communicate very well which leads to a lack of efficiency. Performance reviews happen sporadically and don't have the most honest feedback most of the time.
Mogo really expects you to make your position with them your entire life, which is unrealistic and unhealthy. They seem put off by anyone who has obligations outside of the workplace and they expect you to promote the company on your personal social media pages on your off time, which was over the line for me personally. A lot of the positive comments and likes on their social media pages are from Mogo employees.
Overall the company seems more focused on seeming hip and trendy than actually providing quality financial services, which should be concerning to anyone who is serious about working in that industry.
