Custome service for General Motors
Customer Service Rep for GM (Former Employee), Chatham-KentJanuary 27, 2014
Pros: speaking and problem solving for americans
Cons: everything else
worked at Minacs. LOVED the job initially, there were multiple changes in management, no consistency. Favoritism. The HR manager at the time, the best thing I can say about her...snake! Hire and fire at the drop of a hat. I was floor support, then the HR manager and I had a dispute, without warning, no issues at work, she fired me. Blamed it on attendance! – more... whatever! – less

The job overall was not a bad job but the management isn't that great, nobody cares about the workers unless your doing something you're not suppose too.

Not Bad
BLUE BUTTON WELCOME CALL ADVISOR (Former Employee), Oshawa, ONDecember 20, 2013
The location was not ideal when i was a student with no vehicle, the bus route does not run during about 20-25% of your scheduled time.
The pay was good for a student, and the overtime benefits were great.
Once you became a student employee your ability to 'choose' a shift was removed and you were given the left over shifts which was often the times – more... with no bus :(
The environment was not negative, but you DID need to produce sales. – less

For a call centre it is very good. things change a lot mostly for the worse. the worst part of the job is not being paid to go to the bathroom.
