Mills is seeking the talents of an experienced Bookkeeper. As Halifax’s longest serving fashion destination, you will play an important role in its plans for continued growth.

As Bookkeeper, your primary responsibilities will include daily cash reconciliations, GL account postings, bank reconciliations and deposits, preparation of bank compliance certificates, preparing internal financial statements, preparing monthly budget to actual reports, other financial reporting as required, payroll and accounts payable support.

Qualified candidates for the role of Bookkeeper must have experience with Simply Accounting (Sage) or Quick Books. The successful candidate must have exceptional organizational skills and be a team player. Interest in the fashion industry is an asset.

20-25 hours per week. Pay commensurate with experience.
