How is this place still in business?!
Bilingual Risk Analyst (Former Employee) –  Toronto3 August 2017
Excessive monitoring of bathroom breaks (unpaid) along with breaks/lunches
No work/life balance (inconsistent/insane schedule incl. holidays..)
Consistently try to scam you out of money you earned
Unhygienic facilities- disgusting work environment that is unsanitary/unsafe and causes workers to be constantly sick and spreading germs

IT Support (Former Employee) –  Ottawa, ON29 June 2017
My experience at Millennium 1 Solution was not too shabby. It was a quick contract with low rate and no benefits. The management was not well organized . Other than that the work culture was not so bad and the tasks were manageable.

You're just a number to them
Customer Service Representative and Sales Agent (Former Employee) –  Ottawa23 June 2017
They couldn't care less about employees. There is a reason there are always employment opportunities there. Everyone is either fired for questionable reasons or quits because it's awful. You get harassed on the phones and then told it's your fault when someone is completely unreasonable. The hours suck, the location sucks. The pay is less than other call centres. Could not recommend any less.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Management, hours, actual job itself, equipment is terrible

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Ottawa, ON15 June 2017
Work environment is stressful for no reason. The Team Leads think they have a full head over you and treat you often enough with disrespect. They claim it to be a nice team work environment when the truth is they only care about the call flow and "quality assurance". For the same job elsewhere you can get better. I would use this company as an absolute last resort.

Cons
long hours, bad management, very poor cleasiness, feel more like a kindergarden for adults than a job

Minimum wage job with little room for advancement
Data Entry Clerk (Former Employee) –  Orangeville, ON24 May 2017
I was paid minimum wage at this really high-stress, demanding job, however there were little opportunities for advancement within the company. Would not recommend if you want to make a career out of it.

You've Got To Be Kidding Me....
Client Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Toronto Pearson International Airport, ON11 May 2017
I had never worked an hourly job before. Was not ready for the oppressive, depressive and tyrannical culture. This company needs a shake up, from the top down. Management works hard on installing employee monitoring systems that do everything possible to cheat employees out of minutes and hours of work. The computer log-in system does not sync with the system that spits out worked hours to the pay system. When you complain, you're told that it's your responsibility to flag discrepancies to your supervisor. The supervisor could care less. And payroll people could care even less. There's fabricated employee events from time to time but only those on "the inside" dare to attend. They could stand to do spontaneous spiffs for employees....how about free pizza or have a Tim Horton's pop-up stand - the warehouse is located in the middle of nowhereland. The washrooms are disgusting and the kitchen area is yuck. The work areas are so hot and stuffy, I don't know how any work gets done. I worked at a hot dog stand for $5 a day when I was a teenager. I would do that again before ever working at this place again.
Pros
Can't think of any
Cons

Telephone Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Ottawa, ON25 April 2017
Workplace was unprofessional, enjoyed the people i worked with, but management was unsuited for their positions, and spoke down to their employees on a daily basis, belittling and discouraging rather than helping them when they had questions or needed support.
Pros
Played games when making sales
Cons
Exetremely unprofessional workplace
