Position Title

Sales Coordinator

Responsibility

Provides sales support to the Division Manager. Develop and maintains relationships with the promotional sales force as well as current and new accounts. Takes an active role in driving sales in the US. Plans and coordinates all promotional trade shows.

Principle Responsibilities

Customer Outreach:

  • Develops and maintains relationships with promotional accounts
  • Re-establishes contact with dormant accounts
  • Manages the weekly call plan established with the Division Manager
  • Contacts identified customers within a given time frame
  • Meets with Division Manager on a bi-monthly basis to review results of call plan, subsequent follow ups and action plan to develop future opportunities.
  • Is aware of the Promotions Calendar and identifies accounts to contact based on upcoming promotions
  • Recommends promotions based on customer feedback

Sales Support:

  • Coordinates samples and sales material for promotional sales force and various accounts
  • Manages and updates mail out listing for Pedigree catalogue
  • Coordinates monthly email blasts to promotional accounts
  • Coordinate updates on the Pedigree website with IT
  • USA Sales:
  • Develop an overall sales strategy with the Promotional Division Manager in order to drive sales in the US
  • Coordinate and update all US on line tools (ASI, Sage)
  • Identify Key Accounts in the US and identify new sales opportunities
  • Identify which trade shows to attend in the US
  • Attend trade shows in the US (2 – 3 yearly)

Trade Shows:

  • Manage and coordinate all trade show events
  • Plan booth presentations
  • Organize all products, equipment, signage, etc.
  • Ensure trade show displays are properly configured and equipped
  • Coordinate and execute all post-show follow ups

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of customer service principles and practices (handling of complaints, problem solving, effective listening, customer retention, etc.)
  • Knowledge of relevant computer enterprise applications; Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Management experience
  • Ability to learn new computer software applications
  • Basic knowledge of French (verbal & written)
  • Knowledge of the promotional industry is an asset
  • Interpersonal skills and problem solving skills are an asset
  • Communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
