Responsibilities: managing capital asset replenishment projects of a large portfolio of high-rise buildings in the GTA - As a Project Manager-Capital Project, I’m responsible for managing architectural and engineering professional services contracts as well as construction contracts. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Writ project scopes for solicitation services, reviewing and negotiating professional services fee proposals. •Manage project documentation and contractual responsibilities • Performing QA/QC reviews. • Writ construction documents for bid letting for construction. • Develop project plans, including schedule and construction budgets; coordinating efforts with appropriate the client, planning, engineering, and design staff to review drawings and specifications for conformance. • Coordinate general contractors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. • Obtain approvals at various stages of project development with client, governmental agencies, and consultants. • Prepare correspondence, reports, and project records. • Inspect construction contract work in the field. . Ensure the projects are constructed in accordance with plans / specifications. • Review and negotiate contractor change order proposals. • Perform close-out tasks associated with the completion of projects assigned.
