WELDERS and METAL FABRICATORS (Fitters)

In order to meet the heightened activity in the construction sector and to keep pace with ongoing and future projects, we have an immediate requirement in all our fabrication facilities for Welders and Metal Fabricators (Fitters).

The successful Journeyperson Welders will have the ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings to determine things such as weld size, weld length, and correct procedures to implement. Welders must be CWB certified in Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) or have equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to pass the CWB welder qualifying test.

The Metal Fabricators (Fitters) will be able to independently read and interpret fabrication drawings in order to prepare, layout and fabricate all components on the drawings.

Day and night shift positions are available. Hourly wages range from $28.65 to $31.50 including shift premiums for both these positions with overtime paid at double time after 40 hours. Full-time permanent positions and project positions for 1-2 years are available. Overtime opportunities available.
