The Usability Specialist's main tasks :
- Planning, overseeing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating usability work on the website as well as all tablets, mobile and internal application deliverables.
- Setting creative design goals and objectives, formulating and implementing a strategic UX vision and managing usability activities.
- Provide leadership and support in identifying, evaluating, and implementing the most effective processes, methods, and tools for delivering usability.
-Assuring that user interfaces to all Website, mobile, tablet and Internal interface solutions and services are understandable, usable, useful and effective.
-Designing and executing all phases of usability testing, including development of participant screeners, test plans, recruiting and moderating lab sessions.
-Assist UX Analysts & Solution Designers in the initial creative phases of projects by contributing in brainstorming sessions and performing expert reviews on initial
wireframe creative concepts..
-Perform extensive benchmark exercises on a variety of online e-commerce sites (Travel and Loyalty specifically) to determine trends in the UX and design industry.
-Analyze, document, and present usability findings to product owners and all key stakeholders
-College Diploma or University Certificate
-5 to 10 years of related experience
-Expertise in current internet standards, WEB2.0, accessibility standards (W3C), usability principles
-Experience conducting user research and testing, summarizing results and making recommendations
