This employer gave the some great experience in Pensions Management and Health 'n' Benefits structure for its Australian Members, and our team was directly aligned with the Pension Management Team which was located in Melbourne.
Customer Service Rep (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 31 January 2014
I enjoyed almost everything about working for this company. The coworkers were great very friendly and helpful. Management was good. The problem with this job was that there was no security. When they give you a start and end date there is no assurance that you will start or end on those dates. I was supposed to start for this company again next week but found out the Thursday before that it would not start for another month. If you could trust their start and end dates there would be absolutely nothing wrong.
An amazing company with a vibrant and friendly culture and good work life balance
Administrative Assistant (Current Employee) – Vancouver, BC – 5 January 2014
Being a part of the office operations team, I work with different departments to fulfill their filing needs. Attention to detail is a critical aspect in records management here and I consider it as my strength. I manage purchases and inventory of office supplies for all departments. I get to interact with everyone since I am a office support team member. I look after various aspects of the office facility including the supply room, records room, boardroom setups and kitchen. My managers are very friendly, foster positive working environment and encourage out of box thinking.
Free Food from meetings, amazing office premises, state of art coffee machines and office equipment, occassional fun activities
Don't remember any except that the position does not have an advancement opportunity for now.
Business Systems Analyst (Former Employee) – Toronto, ON – 16 November 2012
Mercer provided a supportive atmosphere in which to develop your skill set. Departments were collaborative.
My work was project-driven, which meant there were peaks and troughs in work flow. However, initiative is encouraged and so I was always able to pick up projects I wished to do around process improvement.
Defined Benefit Pension Administrator (Former Employee) – Dublin, D – 25 September 2012
Mercer in Dublin has flexitime which just really improves work/life balance as you can choose your hours. Working in such a professional environment is very liberating. Great management, very by the book and fair. The hardest part of the job is when companies go bust, we got busier, winding up schemes is hard when you see how upset people are most enjoyable part is the company has a sports and social club, they really promote work/life balance and organize fun activities to get everyone together
MERCER CONSULTATION EN RESSOURCES HUMAINES (Former Employee) – Montréal, QC – 17 May 2016
