I enjoyed almost everything about working for this company. The coworkers were great very friendly and helpful. Management was good. The problem with this job was that there was no security. When they give you a start and end date there is no assurance that you will start or end on those dates. I was supposed to start for this company again next week – more... but found out the Thursday before that it would not start for another month. If you could trust their start and end dates there would be absolutely nothing wrong. – less

Mercer provided a supportive atmosphere in which to develop your skill set. Departments were collaborative.

My work was project-driven, which meant there were peaks and troughs in work flow. However, initiative is encouraged and so I was always able to pick up projects I wished to do around process improvement.

Mercer in Dublin has flexitime which just really improves work/life balance as you can choose your hours.

Working for this company has great pay and good benefits. There are too many temps working and not being advanced to permenant employment. The hardest thing about this job is working several clients and trying to remember which information belongs to which client.

I learned about Benefits, health, vision, dental, 401k plans and retirement. The hardest part of the job for me, was the way customers treated us on the phone. They cursed us, called us ugly names and company did nothing about it.

They taught me a lot about the benefits world and allowed me to learn a lot about retirement plans. I also was able to build calculators using excel tools and was taught how to manipulate data within access to better read the populations. Very little room for advancement unless you stay a long time.
