productive work environment with laid back attitude

Many managers at the work place make it hard on the employees dealing in customer service because one manager might have a different approach to solving issues than another manager. Clashing views make it hard for us, as the service representatives, to stick behind what we say when a person of higher authority will disagree in front of the customers. After working with the company for 7 years with open availability, I am scheduled a lot and often leaving me with little to no free time because I work more than full time hours for a job I am supposed to be part time at. I really love working with customers, solving their issues, taking care of membership applications, and data entry.
