BARTENDER

Melrose Cafe & Bar is now also a part of Calgary's newest entertainment destination, the Cowboys Casino, the start of the Red Mile. We provide the same diverse selection of fresh food, handcrafted cocktails, and premium draft beers in our familiar relaxed atmosphere of comfortable seating, large screen TVs and hospitable service. We would like to add great people to join this new team who will contribute to the expansion of our brand to the Casino.

Duties Required:
 Maintaining a high guest service standard and excellence in customer service
 Meeting quality and cleanliness standards
 Demonstrating enthusiasm and friendliness when performing duties and interacting with guests
 Working in a fast-paced, team oriented environment
 Ensuring a sense of urgency in completion of all tasks
 Demonstrating responsibility, dependability and punctuality
 Opening, closing and side duties as per the Melrose guidelines
 Other duties as assigned by management
 Promoting a safe, sanitized working environment
 Maintaining strict cleanliness while performing duties
 Adhering to strict AGLC rules and regulations

Candidate Requirements:
 Bartending experience, high volume is an asset
 Be customer service orientated
 Be highly motivated and passionate about creating a memorable experience to our guests.
 Be self-motivated and committed to meeting and exceeding our organization's standards
 Have a strong will to succeed and take pride in maintaining the highest levels of quality, service and cleanliness.
 Be available to work mornings both weekdays and weekends
 Be driven to learn and work their way up in the organization/department
 Must be ProServe and ProTect certified or working towards
