Administrator/ Cash Processor

Melrose Café & Bar is seeking an administrator/cash processer to aid in the company’s success. The ideal candidate will posses organizational and interpersonal skills while working in a fast-paced environment to aid in the financial and administrative operations. You will be responsible in supporting the clerical system and input data. This is a position for an individual who is able to multi-task, deadline oriented and values teamwork.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

 Weekly routines aiding in the execution of Pars, updating employee databases, replenishment and editing of manuals
 Ensure accuracy and compliance to administrative standards, procedures and internal controls
 Interact with other members and departments to resolve issues and provide support
 Process cash and discounts; ticker tape & balance credit card totals to pinpads; reconcile and print POSI journal
 Process and track cash, discounts, funds and floats
 Review and adjust shortage grids and payments
 Prepare reporting sheet for one on one with assistant

Candidate Requirements:

 Minimum education of a High School Diploma required
 6+ months experience in administration considered an asset
 Ability to learn quickly and thrive under pressure
 Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
 Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with staff at all levels
 Proven ability with confidential information and independent problem solving skills

Location: 730 17 Avenue Southwest Calgary, AB

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Part time (15-25 hours per week)
