Administrator/ Cash Processor

Melrose Café & Bar is seeking an administrator/cash processer to aid in the company’s success. The ideal candidate will posses organizational and interpersonal skills while working in a fast-paced environment to aid in the financial and administrative operations. You will be responsible in supporting the clerical system and input data. This is a position for an individual who is able to multi-task, deadline oriented and values teamwork.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Weekly routines aiding in the execution of Pars, updating employee databases, replenishment and editing of manuals
Ensure accuracy and compliance to administrative standards, procedures and internal controls
Interact with other members and departments to resolve issues and provide support
Process cash and discounts; ticker tape & balance credit card totals to pinpads; reconcile and print POSI journal
Process and track cash, discounts, funds and floats
Review and adjust shortage grids and payments
Prepare reporting sheet for one on one with assistant
Minimum education of a High School Diploma required
6+ months experience in administration considered an asset
Ability to learn quickly and thrive under pressure
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with staff at all levels
Proven ability with confidential information and independent problem solving skills
Location: 730 17 Avenue Southwest Calgary, AB
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Part time (15-25 hours per week)
