Unique and challenging position in a medical addiction recovery setting. Individual familiar with the medical model of addiction and recovery with exceptional boundaries required immediately. This position follows a strictly abstinence-based approach.
This is both a “helping” and administrative position, in a very fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have a balance of education and experience working with individuals in addiction and recovery, and will be confident and assertive in their approach. Familiarity with 12-steps, mutual support group meetings, SMART recovery and local resources is preferred.
Proficiency in computer applications: MS Word and MS Outlook with attention to detail and accuracy.
Exceptional communication skills – written & spoken
Extensive time management & organizational ability
Ability to work independently & as a contributing member of a team
Ability to take initiative with confidence
