  • Quality Assurance testing for health care software applications
  • Develop and maintain test plans and test cases
  • Extensive manual testing
  • Ensure that new releases are of the highest quality
  • Work closely with the development team to understand how changes in the software product affect maintenance of test cases
  • Functional testing of development stories
  • Assist in defining the Company’s testing methodologies and quality control standards
  • Apply test methodology and product knowledge in the design of tests and testing strategies
  • Contribute to written policies/procedures and maintain compliance documentation as needed
  • Troubleshoot defects and manage defect tracking and resolution process so that a consistent, documented process is used and followed
  • Fully document any unexpected anomalies or defects identified in testing with instruction of how to recreate each
  • Maintain well organized records of test results
  • Ensure that defects and requirement variances are being appropriately communicated to development for correction
  • Work with technical resources to discuss and troubleshoot issues
  • Work with business resources to understand purpose and concept for software features
  • Identify test requirements from specifications

Job Qualifications:


  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance for software processes
  • Knowledge and experience in technical aspects of software solution being tested
  • Create clear, concise, detail oriented test plans/cases
  • Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications
  • Business process understanding
  • Excellent knowledge of testing Complex n-tier web applications and services.
  • Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability
  • Clear communicator (written and oral)
  • Creative solving of technical problems
  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
  • Ability to think abstract
  • Liaison with development, project management, and customer support
  • Automated testing experience is an asset
