good place to work if you have experience for it pays what you bring in
Network/ IT Specialist (Former Employee) – Richmond, BC – 14 August 2017
- strict on start-time of work in the morning - good pay and benefit with RRSP matching up to 5% - stock discount on 15% for employees - conservative and strict management on policies and procedures/change management - not so good on work/life balance
Administrative Assistant, Operations (Former Employee) – Edmonton, AB – 30 April 2017
Coordinating product and vendors and transport at least cost in conjunction with optimal production. Meeting the needs and ensuring requirements are met from the 140 employees on the lines to pack and load product to vendors in a timely fashion.
Team Work Setting
Multitasking, deadlines, troubleshooting all at once
Job was fine, bad timing at location, bad managers.
MATERIAL HANDLER (Former Employee) – Trenton, ON – 24 March 2017
Supervisors were rotating through frequently bringing in new and mostly favoring women in horrendous ways. Eventually it became about 70% women, with the few men there doing all the hard work. Employees were usually good to work with, it was a matter of supervisors being terrible in many ways.
Despite supervisors, it was a great job at the DC in Trenton, just a little too political and too far favoring women.
Material Handler (Former Employee) – Trenton, ON – 16 March 2017
Every day was typically the same but extremely enjoyable. Everyone was easy to talk to and friendly. Nobody was nervous to lend you a helping hand if needed. Management was easy going and if you had a problem there was no need to be scared to bring up the topic to your supervisor because they were extremely understanding. The hardest part of this job was how fast everything was to be done but after awhile it became second nature.
Case worker (Former Employee) – Mississauga, ON – 15 January 2017
Very bad management, all of them are hungry for power and money; most of them will step on dead bodies to get what they want; .. if you don't rub shoulders with upper management it doesn't matter how hard you work, you will be invisible. Meaningless meetings so called "to get to know each other" but in fact is for management to emphasize how "wonderful" they are and generous with "small" people.
Business Development Rep (Former Employee) – Mississauga, ON – 1 January 2017
McKesson is the best company I have ever worked for and I regret each day that I resigned to pursue another opportunity. The management team is very supportive and does not micromanage. The benefit package and salary are fair.
The company has many opportunities for advancement and encourages internal employee advancement
Commis d'entrepôt (Former Employee) – Quebec City, QC – 22 November 2016
