Real Estate Law Clerk needed for growing real estate law practice in downtown Toronto.

Primary duties include:

  • Managing purchase, sale and refinance transactions from beginning to end
  • Preparing documents required for closing using the Conveyancer, LawyerDoneDeal and Teraview
  • Organizing and coordinating files, client meetings, and closings
  • Preparing and reviewing title searches and drafting requisitions and responses
  • Problem solving with minimal supervision
  • Communicating with clients, lawyers, agents, brokers, and stakeholders in a professional manner

Required skills and experience

  • Previous experience as Real Estate Law Clerk
  • Strong conveyancing software skills
  • Law Clerk Certificate/Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strict attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
  • Confident and dependable, with strong initiative and ability to work both independently and in a team oriented atmosphere

Compensation: Dependent upon experience
