MaxSys is currently looking to hire Bilingual Administrative Assistant, Training for their client in Downtown Toronto.
This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of the department through effective/efficient support to the Managers and Director. Reporting to the Director, Training and Membership Development, responsibilities include:
Front line customer service for the Training and Membership Development department
Oversee production and shipment of training course materials
Maintain website and database information
Coordinate travel arrangements for department staff and external consultants
Reconcile expenses and income against budget and prepare status report
Edit and proofread all documents and curriculum in both official languages
Provide administrative support to Business Development Manager
Create Power Point presentations and forms using Adobe
Provide marketing support for all Training and Membership Development department programs and initiatives
Research and source venues for training courses
Desired Skills & Experience
2 to 3 year administrative experience.
A solid understanding of training fundamentals or previous experience in training is required. Knowledge of adult education principles and basic curriculum design are essential.
Must possess advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with Publisher and Adobe to create brochures and forms. The ability and interest to work with various technologies (Webex, streaming video files, Adobe, etc) is required.
Previous experience with iMIS database is preferred. An eye for detail and a strong team player with great interpersonal skills are a must. Strong written and communication skills in English are essential. French written and communication skills is a must.
