Working with people , serving in a restaurant .. Workin in a great team , really fun as work ! The most enjoyable part of the work is that you learn new things and you get to make new friends.

I was a CO-OP student working at Accident Reporting Center. It was from Monday to Friday starting from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. What I had to do it's taking report from customers who came after getting in the accident, and doing data entry into computer before sending them to the police officers because we work together with them. We were receiving calls – more... from customers also for all inquiries. Taking pictures of the damage vehicles to send them to differente insurance companies. I learned about when having an accident vehicle what Somebody should do. I learned different computer system. We had a time management for everyone to work efficiently. My co-workers were fantastic; we share and work in a team setting sometimes. The hardest part of the job when it is snowing and very cold outside, where everyone had one hour taking picture of the vehicles outside and place the stickers on the wet damage part of the vehicles. the most enjoyable part the customers, the police officers; the co-workers are very friendly out there. I usually had a very busy day at work with a lot of pressure when I worked with the Group Office. I learned how to work with different cultures when I traveled to another affiliate to work with other colleagues of different countries. I learned how to manage people when I supervised 5 people in the departement. I helped the Manager in decision making. – more... The most difficult of the job was when I stayed at work over midnight every end month to prepare the financial statement for the Central Bank and for the Group Office. However the enjoyable part of my job was the sharing experience, And the making decision with the Manager. – less

i clean a department at MARS petcare,i,m the only one that is resposable to keep it clean,and throw the trash out.i,m aloued to releave my self for break.I like to keep moving at my job it,s diffucult to keep up with the mess the machenes and the help i give the MARS imployes i work with.

Compensation is good if you don't have to work a 60 hour week - make certain you check on the "real" hours expected to work per week.
Diversity is very poor at this company hence if you are a woman, minority, or older worker expect trouble with advancing your career at this company.
Promotions are very political, rarely Merit based.

general cleaning of the factory, had to be to a high standard, bit of a lanuage problem with some c workers who could not speak very good english. the hardest part of the job was cleaning the ovens, the most enjoyable part was the cheap sweets and canteen

It just has no room for growth, They hire outside the company for availble positions

I have fun talking to the customers while I work. Restock all the shelves if needed see if we have any items in the back that are needed in the front.

Mars Inc. as a whole is a great company to work for. However, I am a contracted employee as I have been contracting for a while. I supervise the Fixed Asset process as it exists today. The reason I am a contractor is because Finance is being centralized to Chicago.

I learned how to work with a team of people and enjoyed the hours that I was working at this company. Factory was just not really my line of work.

A part time job with flexible hours and a opportunity to have fun

Excellent place to work with competitive pay however long hours and managers are on salary so there is no overtime! No work life balance which is a morale killer!

A typical day for me at mars starts out with me gathering all my supplies. Based on the tasks for the night I begin to plan my course of action. I have learned time management and decision making is very important when your working in this environment. I do have some coworkers who stock the isles. occasionally I must work around them but this has never been a problem. The hardest part of the job would be working overnight. The thing I like most about Mars is the sense of accomplishment at the end of a shift. – less

it was a bus disaster and a lot of people died.Life is very precious once loosed you will never get it.we did our best,most people were burnt beyond recognition.its very painful for someone to die whilist you are there especially when you cant help cause of the situation.its so encouraging to see that you managed to save life

I was the guy that covered for the sick operators so everyday was different for me because I was always doing something different. I leaned the entire warehouse and got very good at working fast in new areas though out the day. Hardest part of the job was never having an easy part of the day becasue I was always put in the areas that were behind to – more... help catch them up but the best part was always being on a different kind of machine everyday. – less
