Fundraising/Event Volunteers

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to be part of our fundraising and event team.

Position overview
Working in collaboration with the Fundraising &Communications and other related departments. The individual will provide assistance in the planning, coordination and managing all events.

Responsibilities:
--Planning, organizing and managing all events/programs of the organization
--Assists with tasks related to events, but not limited to, shipping/transport of event related supplies, placing orders for event equipment from vendors, event record keeping and other tasks as assigned
--Communicating and coordinating with service providers and event participants.

Requirements:
--Experience in planning, organizing and managing events/programs preferably
--Strong leadership skills. Ability to work independently or in a team
--Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
--Strong organizational and decision making skills

Additional requirements:
--Commitment/Engagement 5 to 10 hours per week, minimum 6 months
--Police check required: Yes
