Marble Renewal, a trusted name in natural stone restoration and renewal for both commercial and residential customers, is seeking an Account Manager to join our Calgary team. We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated person to be an important part of our growth cycle. In your role as Account Manager you will be concerned not only with the short term sales activity within an account, but also with developing and implementing a longer term strategy to ensure Marble Renewal will retain the customer account and obtain future business.
o Achieve sales targets for new business sales.
o Acquire and move prospects through the sales cycle.
o Develop account goals, strategies and tactics to grow both new and existing business.
o Build strong relationships with your customer base.
o Manage the sales order and paperwork process.
o Utilize client management software package & MS Office applications.
o Experienced with at least 2 years in business-to-business sales from "getting your foot in the door", to listening & understanding customer needs, to presenting recommendations, to closing the deal.
o Must have strong prospecting skills. Must demonstrate the ability to personally develop new accounts and close sales.
o Goal oriented and driven to achieve targets through self-motivation, persistence and determination. Able to pursue everything with energy, drive and a need to finish.
o Top-notch communicator, who conducts himself or herself professionally and personably, and who can speak confidently about yourself, the Company and its services.
o College/University Graduate or equivalent work experience.
o PC literate; working knowledge of MS Office applications.
o Previous experience selling to property or facility managers is an asset.
