Seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to provide procurement support for a large Public Sector employer. Responsibilities will include preparing competitive documents including Request for Proposal, Request for Quotations, Requests for Information, etc. including evaluation criteria and weightings. Will ensure compliance with Government Directives, governing documents and authority limits. Will be preparing and issuing Purchase Orders to successful respondents to competitive processes as well as approved single sourced purchases. Will be conducting vendor briefing. Will be retaining necessary procurement records. Must have 5+ years experience in a procurement role. Experience working with a public sector is preferred. Must have knowledge of procurement and supply functions. Must have excellent knowledge of market standards, specification development and tendering processes. Must have knowledge of the MBC Procurement Directive. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Must have superior organizational skills to establish work priorities in a timely fashion and deadline oriented.
