Our client is rapidly growing and looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to add to their Edmonton team. They offer a very comfortable working atmosphere as they recently moved into a brand new, beautiful facility. This will be the go to person within the office so must be organized and detailed. The position will report to and assist the GM and President with various administrative duties. They offer room for advancement as the former EA has been promoted within the company.
This role requires a seasoned administrative professional with at least 4 years’ experience providing executive level support.
Will be responsible for:
Manage numerous general office services providing leadership and direction in a customer focused environment.
Creating various types of documents including letters, recruitment advertisements, meeting agendas/minutes, reports and presentations
Managing calendar appointments
Creating, updating and maintaining agendas, filing systems, documents, presentations, and contact lists
Liaising with key existing and prospective clients, vendors and stakeholders
Assisting with company meetings and events (i.e coordination of information, preparing materials, room setup, and beverage food/setup)
Maintaining the overall efficiency of document distribution and filing are paramount
Coordinating travel arrangements
Completing various HR duties as needed by Management
The qualified candidate will possess:
4+ years’ experience within a professional EA role
Demonstrable self-management skills
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Positive and professional attitude and always act with discretion in dealing with confidential matters
Strong interpersonal and organization skills
Must be detail oriented
Experience with financial documents as well as financials related to projects
Advanced skills in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint and are comfortable with the challenges of learning other advanced technological applications
Ability to effectively plan and organize travel and meeting details – less
