Secretary (Former Employee), Palo Alto, CA – November 8, 2012
Pros: free lunch and great pay
Cons: no health care
typical day would be answering multiple phone lines, interacting with customers, filing papers, data entry, computer work, shipment orders, multitasking. i learned to answer multiple phone lines and when busy to remain calm. the coworkers were great they bought me lunch gave me a ride when i didnt have a car. the hardest part of the job would be balancing multiple things at once but once i figured out to do the job i became very comfortable. the most enjoyable part of the job was meeting new people.
Talent Management Consultant (Former Employee), St. Catharines – April 20, 2015
Manpower was a great company to work for. There was exceptional information provided through our intranet system. Their focus on organizational systems and customer service were essential for retention and growth for candidates and clients.
Driver trainer (Former Employee), Airdrie, Alberta – March 20, 2015
Pros: free lunches
Cons: list too long to type
Mismanaged by 2 (oil and gas specialists) recruiters that don't know much but just to get bodies for commission. They take 35% of your wages for getting you a job and not doing anything to help you. Empty promises of getting on with company contracted to and that is the trap in order to get you to work for Manpower. Poor benefits. No chance for advancement.

Administrative Assistant (Former Employee), Niagara region – October 21, 2014
Pros: can't think of any
Cons: minimal work at minimal pay
Was sent on jobs that were not appropriate for my skills. I was sent to factories and industrial settings when my background was clearly in an office setting. Was sent to work with the worst employers in the area with terrible labour relations backgrounds. The last employer I had with Manpower did it for me. I received very little training and was unsupported. I obtained employment elsewhere. This employment agency is not suited to white collar workers!!
