Manning Provincial Park, officially named EC Manning Provincial Park, is located in the Cascade Mountains of southwestern British Columbia, 224 km east of Vancouver. The park was named in memory of Ernest C. Manning, Chief Forester of British Columbia from 1936-1941.
Established in 1941, this 70,884-hectare park is comprised of rugged mountains, vast forests, subalpine meadows, sun-draped lakes and white-water torrents. The headwaters of two major rivers, the Skagit and the Similkameen, begin here. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
