Mango Shiva is looking for a new Executive Chef for our contemporary modern Indian restaurant. We are looking for a passionate individual who has a strong desire to explore and create unique Indian and South Asian cuisine and signature dishes. Candidates should have experience in managing kitchens, working with financials, creating and implementing new recipes, ensuring compliance to company standards, and nurturing a environment of team work, personal growth, and learning.
Candidates will :
Create new signature dishes with the direction of management
Write and cost menus
Assist with the day to day function of the am and pm line
Assist in purchasing and maintaining stock
Train and educate all kitchen staff
Ensure compliance with company policies
Foster a positive and exceptional work environment
Help with marketing efforts
Write weekly feature menus
Write and ensure that daily prep lists are executed properly
Maximize use of personal and all employee time
Meet with management weekly to outline management goals
