Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Superintendent will lead all maintenance activities at our Burns Lake,BC facility in order to meet objectives and targets including driving safe work practices, improving reliability and reducing costs. The Maintenance Superintendent is Responsible for coaching and developing Millwrights, contractors, tradesman to safely achieve cost effective results and optimize their performance.

Responsibilities:

• Managing Employees, such as maintenance superintendents, millwrights, foreman, HD Mechanics and other staff
• Make sure all the equipment is maintained at all times before it breaks down
• Promote a safe working environment for all employees
• Ensure machine uptime is maintained at the highest possible standards
• Change Management
• Other General Responsibilities
• Scheduling of Maintenance

Qualifications:

• Must have experience managing millwrights
• If you are a certified Millwright, its preferred
• Mechanical/Electrical Background will also be preferred
• Leadership Experience is a must
• Excellent Communication skills
• Safety Experience
• Previous experience working in a Manufacturing, Mill, Saw Mill

Compensation:
$80,000 -- 90,000 + Bonus + RRSP + Benefits
