Responsibilities:

  • Resolve end user application and software issues
  • Develop reports from various business systems as required
  • Document all pertinent end user identification information
  • Perform hands-on fixes
  • Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders
  • Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
  • Maintain and enhance performance of all new and existing software and applications
  • Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported
  • Coordinate with department heads to assess departmental application training needs and objectives
  • Participate in the design, development, and delivery of software applications training programs and individual classes
  • Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or Management Information Systems
  • Equivalent work experience
  • Strong Knowledge of SQL is a must
  • Truckmate experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports and .NET an asset
  • Advanced software proficiency
  • Industry knowledge an asset
